Jamie, Sheila, John, Aaron and D.Surf Ranch dog Cash. Discussing Jamie's upcoming trip.
D. SURF: It looks like you are heading off on another trip. The North Shore's big wave season is just about over, so where are you off to now?
JAMIE: I'm on my way to surf in a contest in Chile. And lately I have become hooked on playing polo.....on horses... and will be going to Argentina to play polo.
D.SURF: Today you are picking up 2 D.Surf - 12' big wave leashes along with the D.Surf coffin travel bag with wheels. How big do you expect the surf to be for the contest in Chile.
JAMIE: We are hoping for waves from 15' to 30'.
D.SURF: Please tell us what you like about the D.Surf Coffin Bag w/Wheels?
JAMIE: Even though the hardware makes the coffin a little more heavy, it makes traveling through the airports a lot easier.
It is a Family Affair here on the D.Surf Ranch. Katherine along with her Dad, Bill Burke who is visiting from New Hampshire, and daughter Celeste are returning from harvesting lettuce for dinner from Aaron & Katherine's garden and collecting eggs, for breakfast, from their flock of chickens.

Here, Angie shows off some of the beans that were harvested this morning.
What a bounty of fresh vegetables! As this is a 'Cooperative Garden Effort', it is supported by a few, 'major patrons' and some of the local residents.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_gardening, but a very unique effort here in Baja Sur.
Who ever thought you'd get excited over spinach? I use to hate it growing up. If you lived here full-time you'd really appreciate fresh spinach for sure!
Lovely carrots (are carrots lovey or are they just really good for you?).
Something to brighten this week's salad.
Let the baggin' begin!
It looks like it was a good day shopping at the garden in San Somewhere.
The pictures and comments are from a long time resident of San Juanico, John Fields. April 2010. We appreciate him sharing it with us. We know that there aren't any 'surf' pictures....but..... veggies are important to a healthy surfer's body.
