Join Cardiff's own Rob Machado for the final screening of the U.S. film tour for The Drifter. Machado will play a few songs with special guest John Swift at 7 pm, followed immediately by a screening of The Drifter.
This outdoor event is free, but donations for the Rob Machado Foundation will be gladly accepted at the door. Seating based on a first come first serve basis.

Today we repaired a DaKine coffin surfboard bag. The customer was in a pinch to get on his way to Nicaragua so we got it repaired in time for him to go on his adventure.

Aaron sent us some more photos of the East Coast. These are of the Nags Head Pier in North Carolina.

You may have seen the destruction of the homes and coastline caused by the latest Atlantic storm. Aaron is experiencing it first hand. He said that one of the homes destroyed by the surf was 3 doors down from where he is staying. We just got an email this morning, Fri. 11/13, and he said all is well with him.
A day in the life at D.Surf's Ranch.
Packing up a repair. As part of our warranty policy we repair all of our bags at no charge. Destination Surf will now repair other brands of bags for a nominal fee as part of our 'green' program= Repair, re-use, don't throw away. We are also using boxes that we have recycled from businesses in North County. Cam Ottley of Thousand Mile dropped by for a visit.

YIKES! This guy just got cut by a STING-RAY, through his booty!! The surfers said that there were quite a few sting rays in the water yesterday at Fletcher Cove.
Parking issues on Hwy 101 on the first BIG swell Sunday.
It was a challenge to find a place to park on Hwy 101 south of Swamis.
Next to impossible to park anywhere near Swamis..
It is going to be interesting to see how this BIG construction project fits into the quaint 'village' image of Hwy 101 through Encinitas.
